- Infra-red reading principle
- Interval reading : at interval of times, the machine records the surface of separation between the plasma and the red blood cells, giving accurate positions
- Automatic print-out : built-in thermal printer, enabling the print out of the sedimentation rate as well as the kinetic curve of sedimentation
- Result storage: the machine can store up to 200 sample results, enabling the user to review the results at any moment
- Ability to avoid interference: the results given by SFRI ESR analyzer are not affected by the high concentration of bilirubin and lipids.
